I love this one! For some reason this series makes me want to buy a pack of strawberry and cream flavored CreamSavers. Very yummy series, perfect one. I can't wait to work with these.

Black stretch velvet. It absorbs the light so well, instead of reflecting it like other fabrics.
(It was a gift, intended so I could make a dress from it.... The dress never happened, but it's come in handy for many photos.)

I'm not sure. White reflects the most amount of light, whereas black absorbs it. You would probably see all the folds in the white velvet if you used that as a backdrop - which would certainly be pretty. ;) .. but I don't know if that's what you're going for.
