Interesting you call this a softer, girlier version. Of all of them to this point, I liked it the best, which is why I faved it.

The funny thing is, I hate gender stereotyping. But it works to get a point across, I guess - until we change our vocabularies. Anyway... boys cry too.

I like this pose....don't really know about the girlishness...unless you count despare and shame as girlish traits only....this could be used many different ways in a painting....faving it for later use....gonna have to mull over the right way to use this one

Well, the "girly" aspect is really more in the clothing, and as a general description for the whole series - not so much in the poses. But I did try to make the poses more demure, and less intense than the Black and White Socks series.
